Therapists

Nick Gardiner qualified from London Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy.  During his time at university he had the opportunity to work with London Irish RFC, GB Ice Hockey and Tottenham Hotspur FC. Following university he established Fit For Sport with the vision of providing the local area with a dedicated injury clinic for sports people and the general public. Nick is also a lecturer in Sports Therapy at London Metropolitan University. He spends his leisure time surfing and wakeboarding.

 

Ellie Ricketts qualified from Central Lancashire University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy. She has previously worked with Chesterfield FC, County Hockey teams, numerous university teams and has had work experience with children, including Camp America. Ellie’s main sport is hockey and has played for Lincolnshire County and now plays for The City of Peterborough Hockey Club. She also enjoys swimming and tennis.

 

 

Richard Luddington qualified from London Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy. Previously, he has undertaken work at the British Indoor Rowing Championships and the London Marathon. He has also acquired level 2 badminton coaching and ACSM/HFI Fitness Instructor qualifications. Richard competes in Bob Skeleton and in 2006, he set the fastest 30m time in the country and is currently part of the GB Future Talent squad.

 

Natalie Dodson graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy. She has previously worked with university teams, Leyland RLFC and Cambridge RUFC. She has also provided post-exercise treatment and massage at the London Marathon and the Great Cumbrian Run. In addition to Natalie’s role at the clinic she also provides pitch-side Sports Therapy for Newmarket Town FC. She played hockey for the university and now enjoys playing locally.
