"Fit For Sport made a great contribution to this year’s Sawston Fun Run, the largest event of its type in the area, attracting over 1,200 entrants. Richard, and his team were really appreciated by the elite runners both before and after the race with whom they easily related and their complimentary vouchers illustrated just how much the engage with the local community. We are most grateful for their support and hope they will be involved again next year” – Tony Collett, Rotary Club of Sawston District.

"Having Fit for Sport at both the Cancer Research UK Race for Life and Run 10K events added so much value to the extra activities available to all the participants and spectators. They are very friendly, professional and offer a well deserved service for those finishing their run! Thank you so much to the whole team for being part of the Cancer Research UK events this year in Cambridge and for helping us raise so much money to beat cancer" - Lucy Hynes, Cancer Reasearch UK, Race For Life

Richard Luddington in action on Cambridge University AFC’s training camp in La Manga

"The 2010 CUAFC tour to La Manga, sponsored by ExxonMobil, was a great way to prepare CUAFC for the run in to its Varsity match with Oxford on Easter Weekend. The club took with them a coach and a Sports Therapist - Fit For Sport's very own Richard Luddington.

Not only was Rich a big hit with the lads, they appreciate the difference he made to the tour. In previous years, injured players could only watch on as their team mates played, however Rich ensured that at least 5 of the 7 players injured out there were available for selection in both games with constant advice, massages and ultrasound treatment. We now start the second half of the season with a fully fit squad and already this has paid dividends with resounding victories.

Hopefully we didn't work you too hard, but from everyone on tour Rich, thank you.”

Michael Johnson - Captain, Cambridge University AFC

Richard from Fit For Sport helping Jez George’s  “Walk for Change”
Jez, Cambridge Utd, is walking 410 miles from Wrexham to Wembley, via York, Mansfield, Rushden, Luton and Oxford to raise awareness that youth schemes should be judged on their quality and the players produced rather than the league in which their first team play and also to raise funding to keep the academy at Cambridge United going.

The mission statement is, “If a full time Football Club runs a Youth Development Scheme which meets Governing Body Qualitative Criteria, access to funding should be available and player registration should be protected.
